Ironwood Automotive began in 2019 as a small, three-bay shop in Richmond’s Scott’s Addition neighborhood, built on a simple idea: auto repair can—and should—feel approachable, honest, and fair. From the start, we’ve focused on the brands we know best: Honda, Acura, Toyota, Lexus, and now Subaru.

Thanks to the support of our incredible customers, we expanded in 2023 into a 7,000-square-foot facility with nine bays and an in-ground alignment rack. This growth allows us to serve the greater Richmond area—including Glen Allen, Ashland, Mechanicsville, Chesterfield, Bon Air, and Midlothian—with greater efficiency and convenience.

While we’ve grown, our core values haven’t changed. Our goal is to create a welcoming, judgment-free environment where you can service or repair your vehicle with confidence—and leave feeling informed and at ease. We offer many of the same services as the dealership, without the high overhead, inflated pricing, or pressure.
